Ford Transit Autosleepers Flair

This is my 1987 Autosleepers Flair based on Ford Transit mk 3 SWB 2.0 litre petrol.
It is for sale at £3500 ono.
It has 88000 miles on the clock but unfortunately this model does not have power steering (although never been an issue).
The van will come with 12 months MOT.
Will also have a large driveaway awning which is very used but perfectly serviceable (ask me to send you a photo)
I get 28 mpg from this vehicle if you drive sensibly.
The van is in very good condition for its age and is located in Stockport, South Manchester

Email me-Sorry its SOLD!

I have owned this van for 3 years and had a great time using it but unfortunately my family have outgrown it, hence the reason for selling.
The van has everything you would expect from an Autosleepers conversion.
Facilities listed below all work as they should unless specified differently.
Sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children (up to 130cm in height) in the roof space.
Blown air heating with thermostat.
3 way fridge with small freezer compartment (Electrolux).
12v hook up with cable.
Recently replaced leisure battery.
2 ring hob with grill.
Sink and drainer.
Pumped cold water to sink from 10 litre tank in cupboard (original tank removed because it was a health hazard). You could fit a second 10 litre tank in the cupboard very easily.
Water heater removed to make more storage (I still have the heater if wanted, was working when removed).
Tow hook with new pin socket.
12v interior lighting.
3 x 240v sockets.
2 x captain chairs
2 x tables
Porta potty (nearly new and very clean, if wanted)
CD player and radio.
Surprisingly ample storage space in numerous cupboards around the van. All catches and cupboards work as new.
To the vehicle I have-
Fitted Webber carburettor at 81000, starts first time.
Cam belt replaced at 76000
Replaced the rear brakes and fitted new handbrake cable.
New front brake discs, brake hoses and pads.
New brake master cylinder.
Replaced engine valve oil seals (to stop smoking on start up).
New exhaust.
New engine electrics.
Loads of tread on the tyres
Lots of welding to improve the body condition and aid life span (no rust underneath, good condition for its age).
The van has passed its MOT first time for the last 3 years.
Comes with Haynes manual, original Autosleepers manual and Ford manual.
Front doors are rusty at bottoms.
Engine was designed to run on leaded fuel but runs with unleaded with the occasional splash of additive in the tank (have got a couple of bottles).
This is a great van, contact me and I would love to show you round it. Email me any questions you may have.
