2.0 high compression OHC engine with twin webers and overdrive gearbox

4 berth, on demand hot and cold running water, on board fresh and grey water tanks, shower, toilet, 3 way fridge, 4 ring hob/grill and oven, gas fire, split charging for leisure battery, Fiamma wind out awning, towbar and reversing alarm, double glazed windows.

Originally built in 1979 but was re-bodied with phase 2 chassis cab and camper conversion by Rotherham caravans in 1988. The original 1.6 engine was replaced with a 2.0 engine, and this is the reason its on a Q plate, as it had too many new parts to be considered the original vehicle.

Comes with all documentation to back this up.

The van then stood mainly idle for the next 20 years under cover and only covering 3200 miles and that is why this van is in such outstanding condition inside and out as it has had hardly any use.

In my ownership (about 6 years) i have fitted Mk7 transit seats, uprated the rear springs, new shocks all round, fitted new clutch and overdrive gearbox, new Weber carbs, new radiator and water pump and recent cambelt change.

I had the bottom of both doors reskinned 2 years back, so i had the whole cab reprayed in Ford diamond white.

The interior has had new curtains and the seats re-upholstered and new flooring along with new carpet in the cab.

The whole van is dry with no leaks and that includes the windscreen which are prone to leaking on early Transits.

All tyres are good and MOT to July 2014, it is currently taxed to end of Sept but i will tax it for the new owner.

Needless to say Ronnie drives excellent with good brakes and recently just come back from a 700 mile camping trip to Wales without a glitch, and has recent professional tune up and a fully documented service history in my ownership.

Ronnie in my opinion is the best mk2 camper ive ever seen, and has won numerious trophys at shows, so it can be a show van and a touring van.
