Merc 207 - BRILLIANT Camper, A real character!!
Sadly I have to sell my beautiful 207 Merc Camper as I cannot afford to keep it by myself. I bought her last
year with my boyfriend, and we are no longer together thus I must sell unfortunately.
Yellow and white 1978
Merc 207 diesel, 2.4ltr engine, 12months MOT 6months tax.... under 78,000miles on clock!! Drives really well, but does not
have power assisted steering.
This is a brilliant camper with real character... it's like taking a time warp
back into 1978 when you go inside. Full retro interior.
Sink, twin gas hob, grill, oven, shower, toilet, plenty
of storage, very comfy and very large pull out double bed.
I have spent about £2000 on servicing and getting
fixing her up, so the van is in great order and ready to go off and have lots of adventures!! However the water pump/heater
cannot be used at present as the last owners left water in the system over the winter and burst the one of the pipes - this
is not a complicated or expensive job, I just never really needed that facility in the time that I have had the van, so haven't
got round to sorting it.
It is old, and has a few cosmetic rust patches on the exterior, but my mechanic
was astounded by how good the body work etc. is on this van. I was told by the past owner that it spent some of its life
in portugal, so the climate there may account for it good condition.
In the short time that I have had this van, I have had
great fun with it and will be very sad to see it go, but circumstances push the sale.

this is a real gem of a van, perfect for festivals and adventures.
