The time has come to say goodbye to lovely Margot.
1977 Ford Mk1 Transit Campervan. We've had her for 10 years with so many wonderful holidays and memories. She's been
super reliable and on the button; starts first time, every time. Now MOT & Tax exempt.
We're selling as we need
a larger motorhome as we've got a growing family and need more space.She also needs work and time spent on her but I don't
have the time.
Mechanically she's
good, and although she's good for weekends away she needs some tlc.She's in use and ready to drive away.These are
the bits that need doing:
Rust as seen in pics. A lot of this is cosmetic but the Cills and lower part of front doors
with the passenger side needing welding soon.Coachbuild body so her chassis underneath is in pretty good nick. The over cab
sleeping compartment has dropped slightly over the years and the window needs resealing.
2.5L dieselSleeps 4gas Oven, hob, grill and 3 way fridge all workingLarge Water
tank.2 x propane bottlesSinkShower and boiler (need testing) but workElectrical work Lights work
For someone with time and the skills this could be a great project.
